Bilingual Outreach Specialist (State Certified)

Job Summary

To support individuals living with serious mental illness, the part-time Bilingual Outreach Specialist (State Certified) will perform telephonic outreach, connect clients to local care teams, and facilitate ongoing engagement in supportive services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing telephonic outreach to individuals and community providers
• Schedule appointments and support individuals in understanding their health needs and the care model
• Document encounters and participate in case reviews and team collaboration

Required qualifications

• Lived experience with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorder and recovery
• State Peer Recovery certification or eligibility to obtain certification within six months of employment
• Bilingual in Spanish/English
• Demonstrated mastery with technical tools like smartphones and messaging services
• Openness to receiving feedback and commitment to professional growth
