Bilingual Patient Access Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Bilingual Patient Access Specialist (English/Spanish).

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure cases comply with company standards while providing optimal service and quality
• Conduct benefit investigations and verify patient insurance information through communication with payers
• Document and initiate prior authorization processes and claims appeals, acting as a liaison among healthcare providers, patients, and field representatives

Required Qualifications

• In-depth understanding and experience with Major Medical & Pharmacy Benefit Coverage
• 2 to 3 years of experience in benefit investigation and analysis of insurance coverage
• 2 to 3 years of experience interacting with healthcare providers regarding health insurance plans
• Bilingual in both English and Spanish
• Salesforce system experience preferred
