Job Summary
Bilingual Patient Access Specialist serves in a full-time remote role as the primary contact for patients and healthcare providers, facilitating access to therapy through benefit investigations, insurance verification, and support for prior authorizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inbound and outbound calls to support program services and patient inquiries
- Perform insurance benefit investigations and assist with copay and patient assistance program enrollment
- Document interactions accurately and ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish speaker
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5+ years of experience in medical billing, reimbursement, or insurance verification
- Robust understanding of payer coverage and reimbursement
- Experience in a contact center or patient support environment
