Job Summary

To enhance patient interactions, the full-time Bilingual Patient Engagement Representative will provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and processing payments in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Interact with customers via telephone or email to address inquiries and provide information on insurance processing
  • Analyze and troubleshoot customer concerns, coordinating with other departments as necessary for resolution
  • Record customer interactions accurately in the patient chart and relay feedback to supervisors for continuous improvement
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be bilingual
  • Strong knowledge of insurance billing and reimbursement processes
  • Familiarity with HIPAA privacy regulations
  • Ophthalmology/Optometry terminology background is a plus
