Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Intake Coordinator (Bilingual: English/Spanish) for outpatient behavioral health services in a fully remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of inbound calls and emails, conducting patient intakes and documenting information in the EHR
- Schedule patients based on clinician availability and verify insurance eligibility while explaining benefits and next steps
- Coordinate with clinicians, billing, and administrative staff to resolve issues efficiently
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- 2+ years of experience in a medical office, behavioral health practice, or healthcare administrative role
- Direct experience verifying insurance benefits and managing appointment scheduling
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Must reside in Florida and pass a Level 2 background check
