Bilingual Spanish Medical Scribe

Job Summary

To enhance provider efficiency in family medicine, the part-time Bilingual Spanish Virtual Medical Scribe will perform medical record documentation and clerical duties remotely, working weekdays from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Central Standard Time.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing and assembling medical record documentation to support healthcare providers
• Entering patient rooms with physicians to capture and transcribe medical record documentation using electronic medical record applications
• Updating all components of the patient's medical record at the direction of the physician, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and HIPAA regulations

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
• Typing speed of 45+ WPM
• Fluency in reading, writing, and understanding English and Spanish
• Ability to work a minimum of 16 hours per week for part-time or 32 hours for full-time over consecutive months
