Job Summary

Providing diabetes education and support, the part-time Bilingual Spanish Telehealth CDCES will work remotely to improve patient adherence and health outcomes while consistently meeting program metrics and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide diabetes education support to patients to enhance adherence and health outcomes
• Quickly establish rapport with a diverse patient population through phone interactions
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to facilitate behavior change among patients

Required qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist from the NCBDE
• Fluency in Spanish
• Proven experience in motivational interviewing for positive behavior change
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Flexible schedule with a commitment to a minimum of 20 hours per week
