Bilingual Special Needs ESL Teacher

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialized Online ESL Teacher - Remote Special Needs Instructor.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach English to blind, deaf, and deafblind children through one-on-one and small group online sessions
• Utilize adapted and accessible materials tailored to the needs of special needs students
• Participate in professional development and community initiatives to enhance teaching skills

Required Qualifications

• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (C1-C2 or native proficiency)
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Education, Special Education, or a related field
• Accredited TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification (120 hours or above)
• Formal qualification or proven experience in Special Needs Education, specifically in visual impairment, deaf education, or deafblindness
• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience with students with disabilities
