Bilingual TPL Claims Representative

Job Summary

To assist hospitals in resolving accounts related to accidents, the full-time Bilingual TPL Claims Representative will manage a queue of Third-Party Liability accounts remotely, contacting patients to obtain necessary information and collaborating with insurance adjusters and personal injury attorneys during the claims process.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and manage a queue of Third-Party Liability accounts, achieving an average of 100 unique accounts worked per day
• Contact hospital patients to gather accident details and insurance information, and support them with questions regarding the Third-Party Liability process
• Submit hospital bills to insurance companies and maintain communication with insurance adjusters and personal injury attorneys to ensure timely payment

Required qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish, with strong communication skills
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum one year of experience in hospital revenue cycle processes preferred
• Knowledge of HIPAA, FDCPA, and hospital lien statutes is advantageous
• Intermediate proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel
