Bilingual Virtual Acute Care Provider

Job Summary

To support a growing telehealth medical group, the full-time Bilingual Virtual Acute Care Provider (NP or PA) will deliver acute care services remotely, diagnosing complex medical conditions and collaborating with care teams while working four 10-hour shifts per week, including one weekend shift per month.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Care OnDemand visits, evaluating and diagnosing acute illnesses, ordering diagnostic tests, and establishing care plans
• Collaborate with members' care teams, including PCPs and specialists, to coordinate care and deliver comprehensive treatment plans
• Utilize the electronic health information system for patient visits and provide feedback for system improvements

Required qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• At least three years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in acute care, urgent care, or emergency medicine
• Active and in-good-standing RN and APRN licenses for Nurse Practitioners or an active Physician Assistant license
• Willingness to work four 10-hour shifts per week, including one weekend shift per month, from 11am-9pm EST
• Ability to obtain licensure in required states within 90 days of hire
