Billing Advocate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Advocate responsible for overseeing claims production, billing, follow-up, collections, and compliance with third party payer regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee claims production and ensure accurate and timely billing and collections
• Provide operational oversight and mentorship to the Billing Coordinator
• Monitor revenue cycle indicators and implement corrective action plans as necessary

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• Must have HRG Helix experience
• 3 years previous hospital billing experience
• Working knowledge of insurance regulations and automated insurance billing
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
