Billing Advocate

Job Summary

To support healthcare reimbursement processes, the full-time Billing Advocate will manage the submission and follow-up of inpatient and outpatient claims to government payors, working remotely with a consistent schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

Key responsibilities

• Process claims reports and ensure accurate submission of UB04 claims with required attachments
• Verify eligibility, member benefits, and authorization requirements for each claim submitted
• Track claim statuses and coordinate with client hospitals to resolve outstanding issues

Required qualifications

• High School diploma required
• 1+ years' experience in hospital or professional claim billing and follow-up preferred
• Experience with electronic medical records such as EPIC, Cerner, or Meditech preferred
• Proficient in MS Office and Windows
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with a reliable internet connection
