Billing Advocate

Job Summary

Providing specialized case management and advocacy, the full-time Billing Advocate will support members through the balance bill defense process while working remotely and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution and a positive member experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned member caseload with a focus on enhancing member experience and engagement
• Coordinate internal and external issue resolution, acting as the primary point of contact for member inquiries
• Facilitate communication among members, clients, medical providers, and legal representatives to ensure effective issue management

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience in client-focused solutions delivery based on customer needs
• Experience in billing, insurance, healthcare, or legal environments is a plus
