Billing Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Billing Analyst I will audit bills for compliance, maintain accuracy and cost control, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify diagnosis codes, provider information, and procedure codes
• Identify bills requiring research and apply appropriate notes and codes
• Communicate with providers and peers while meeting quality and production standards

Required qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required
• 2 or more years of work experience with CPT and ICD-9 codes or relevant classroom experience
• Familiarity with HFCA and UB92 forms is required
• Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work effectively
• Experience in a Windows environment is necessary
