Billing Analyst

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and proactive, the full-time contract Billing Analyst will manage billing transactions, resolve discrepancies, and support accounts receivable activities while working remotely from Tallahassee, Florida.

Key responsibilities

• Process, reconcile, and maintain accurate billing transactions, including invoicing and premium payments
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies by collaborating with clients, brokers, and internal teams
• Support accounts receivable activities through payment application and account reconciliation efforts

Required qualifications

• 1-3+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or financial operations
• Experience in employee benefits administration or insurance preferred
• Working knowledge of accounting principles, including reconciliations and account balancing
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies and interpret financial information
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with billing platforms
