Billing and AR Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing & AR Specialist (Part-Time, Contract).

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process completed freight orders and verify order information for accuracy
• Generate invoices, confirm accuracy, and manage submission to customers
• Monitor aging reports, follow up on overdue invoices, and maintain accurate billing records

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable, preferably in trucking or logistics
• Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS) and customer billing portals
• Familiarity with document management tools and basic spreadsheet functions
• Highly organized and dependable with effective time management skills
• A proactive mindset with an ownership mentality towards discrepancies
