Billing and Collection Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing and Collection Specialist to join their remote team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent customer service and respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours
• Process payments, manage patient balances, and utilize reports for collections
• Document accounts accurately and prepare accounts for bad debt review

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in accounting or business, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience with an associate degree, or 5 years without
• Experience with medical software programs and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of office procedures and equipment
• Ability to demonstrate good judgment and remain calm under stress
