Billing and Collections Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Special Billing and Collections Coordinator (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform billing activities in Epic, including good faith estimates for self-pay and uninsured patients
• Communicate with patients to process payments prior to service dates and assist with out-of-network authorizations
• Act as a liaison among physicians, clinical staff, and patients to ensure compliance with billing regulations and processes

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• 5 years of experience in billing or insurance
• No specific certifications or professional licenses required
• A driver's license is not required for this position
