Billing and Payments Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing & Payments Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the billing and payments expert for the Customer Success organization, leading complex engagements from assessment to resolution
• Document common billing scenarios and develop structured playbooks for high-risk situations
• Partner with internal teams to ensure proper setup and advocate for customer needs by addressing recurring issues

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing specialist, solutions consultant, or technical support role, preferably in B2B SaaS with a financial component
• Deep understanding of billing and collections processes in accounting firms or professional services
• Experience with practice management or accounting platforms like Karbon, Xero, or QuickBooks is advantageous
• Ability to work autonomously and confidently in a specialized domain
• Strong documentation instincts to create reusable resources from resolved cases
