Billing and Posting Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing & Posting Provider.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit claims to third-party insurance carriers and follow up on unpaid claims
• Process claim rejections and maintain quality customer service while adhering to policies
• Ensure timely submission of claims and manage denial issues, including filing appeals when necessary

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Critical Access or Acute Care facility billing or physician billing
• Medicare billing experience is required
• Proficient in CPT and ICD-10 coding and familiar with medical terminology
• Experience in filing claim appeals to maximize reimbursement
• Responsible use of confidential information
