Billing and Reimbursement Professor
Job Summary
A company is looking for a First-Year Experience and Billing/Reimbursement, Assistant Professor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver courses (30 - 36 credit hours per fiscal year) and provide academic support
- Engage in course development (4-5 courses per fiscal year) and mentor students and Visiting Professors
- Participate in professional development and scholarly activities to stay current in the field
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in the relevant field or a related field with 18 graduate hours in the subject area
- Three to five years of experience in the healthcare industry relevant to course content
- Three to five years of experience in revenue cycle management and medical billing
- Two years of online teaching experience
- Qualifications must be from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
