Billing Auditor - Surgical Services

Job Summary

To support the Surgical Services department, the full-time remote Billing Auditor - Surgical Services will manage complex daily reporting requests, correct coding discrepancies, and serve as a liaison between clinical users and corporate operations.

Key responsibilities

• Audits the Surgical Services revenue cycle and compiles monthly statistical data
• Manages and evaluates user requests, ensuring timely responses and report prioritization
• Conducts in-services for clinical and non-clinical staff regarding system enhancements and operational policies

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years of surgical services experience
• Broad exposure to OR operations
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Nursing preferred
• Coding certification preferred
