Billing Charge Entry Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting charge entry demographic processes, the part-time Billing Charge Entry Specialist II will troubleshoot mismatched records, validate accurate registration, and ensure proper billing to prevent revenue leakage.

Key responsibilities

• Supports core demographic production teams through escalation and clarification
• Troubleshoots cases and reviews escalated charge tickets for accuracy
• Manually extracts required documentation from external billing systems as needed

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a healthcare business office
• Billing experience in a healthcare organization preferred
• Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, and systems
• Computer applications skills including MS Word and Excel
