Billing EDI Analyst II

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Billing EDI Analyst II will validate EDI transmission outcomes, communicate project updates to stakeholders, and maintain strong relationships with payers and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Review 835 files to ensure quality and appropriate outcomes of EDI transmissions
• Identify and communicate solutions to issues and roadblocks while managing multiple projects
• Support internal department projects and maintain accurate documentation, including logs and reports

Required qualifications

• Associates degree with 3 or more years of experience in healthcare billing systems, or a High School Diploma/GED with 5 or more years of experience
• 3 or more years of Healthcare Billing EDI experience
• 2 or more years of experience with HIPAA transactions (835/837P, 270/271, 277CA, 999, 834)
• 2 or more years of experience with data-driven analytical tools
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
