Billing Follow Up Representative

Job Summary

To support billing operations, the full-time Billing Follow Up Representative will manage claims processing, review denial trends, and resolve insurance credit balances while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Completes claims and documents billing activity in accordance with regulations and policies
• Reviews and analyzes denial trends, root causes, and accounts receivable impact
• Contacts payers to inquire about account statuses and resolves insurance credit balances

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
• One year of experience in financial services or healthcare business office
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
• Prior experience with healthcare computer systems, especially Epic billing, preferred
