Billing Implementation Specialist

Job Summary

Managing payer onboarding and billing implementation, the full-time remote Billing Implementation Specialist will coordinate setup activities, ensure project milestones are met, and serve as the primary contact for payer representatives to facilitate successful billing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end billing implementations for new payer and health plan launches, ensuring timely progress and resolution of issues
• Build and maintain strong relationships with payer billing contacts, facilitating meetings and addressing implementation questions
• Track billing KPIs and develop standard operating procedures to support consistent and compliant billing practices

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, payer relations, or billing operations
• Experience working with health plans, TPAs, or healthcare billing
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Understanding of CPT/HCPCS codes and claim lifecycle management
• Ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously and independently drive work forward
