Billing Implementation Specialist
Job Summary
Leading the implementation of the Customer Information System (CIS) with a focus on billing, the full-time remote Billing Implementation Specialist will analyze client needs, manage relationships, and oversee the billing workstream from both business and technical perspectives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead clients through the implementation process, ensuring ownership of the billing area
- Analyze and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
- Support data migration and conversion activities, validating billing data and troubleshooting issues
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Consultant, Business Analyst, or Implementation Specialist in software delivery
- Utility billing experience with a solid understanding of the meter-to-cash process
- Working proficiency in SQL and knowledge of SDLC and project methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in business process design and requirements analysis
