Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time hourly Billing Intake Specialist will assist members with initial file setup, manage balance bill inquiries, and ensure accurate data entry in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Assist members with the setup of balance bills and respond to related inquiries
  • Accurately input member balance bill information into the database while maintaining quality and turnaround SLAs
  • Communicate with the Audit Team and third-party partners to gather necessary documentation for balance bills
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service position, preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Experience in healthcare or billing environments is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations
