Job Summary
Leading a team to enhance billing processes, the full-time salaried Billing Operations Director will streamline billing infrastructure, ensure accuracy, and collaborate with Finance and Product teams to implement best practices.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement billing system architecture to support complex pricing models and ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards
- Oversee invoice generation and validation, establishing billing controls and conducting periodic audits for accuracy
- Manage the end-to-end quote-to-cash process, including customer lifecycle transitions and issue resolution related to billing inquiries
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in billing operations management within a SaaS environment
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition standards (ASC 606) and billing system configuration
- Experience with integration between billing platforms and financial systems such as SAP ERP and Salesforce CRM
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex system implementations
- Background in financial reporting and analytics related to billing revenue
