Billing Operations Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Cycle Billing Specialist I.

Key Responsibilities

• Process discharge transports and submit claims to Medicare for payment/denial
• Complete ambulance coding for non-emergency claims and assist with special projects
• Adhere to company policies, meet deadlines, and manage large volumes of work

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of medical billing experience with government payors
• Familiarity with government payor and HIPAA requirements
• Knowledge of HCPCS and strong computer skills
• Strong alpha-numeric data entry skills: 35+ WPM with 90%+ accuracy
