Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Reimbursement Specialist II, a temporary remote position focused on medical claims reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

• Increase cash flow and reduce bad debt through effective billing practices
• Manage appeals and denials in accordance with payer guidelines
• Perform data entry and verify insurance eligibility while maintaining accurate patient information

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; further education preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience in accounts receivable, billing, or healthcare, preferably in laboratory insurance billing
• Knowledge of coding systems such as CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
• Hands-on experience with medical billing and reimbursement processes
