Billing Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Representative responsible for accurate and timely billing of UB-04 claims for acute hospital services.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit UB-04 claims for acute inpatient and outpatient hospital services
• Review and resolve claim edits and collaborate with hospital facilities to clarify billing issues
• Ensure compliance with payer guidelines and internal standards while maintaining productivity in a high-volume environment

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• 1+ years of hospital billing experience
• Working knowledge of medical terminology
• Familiarity with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work Monday - Friday during specified business hours
