Billing Representative

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Billing Representative will manage patient account resolution, handle collections outreach, and ensure compliance with billing regulations while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and prioritize open Accounts Receivable for patient collections
• Handle inbound patient calls and conduct outbound collections outreach
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive account resolution within target timelines

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED
• 1+ years of experience in medical collections and billing
• Knowledge of health insurance coverage and patient financial responsibilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to read and interpret EOBs (Explanation of Benefits)
