Billing Representative

Job Summary

Submitting hospital and professional claims to various payers, the full-time Billing Representative will manage code and demographic audits, resolve claims issues, and ensure accurate billing practices in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform code and demographic audits on paper and electronic claims for accuracy
• Review and resolve electronic claims transmission reports and ECS rejections
• Identify and bill secondary or tertiary insurances as necessary

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Less than 1 year of relevant experience
