Billing Representative

Job Summary

Working remotely in the Pacific Time Zone, the full-time Billing Representative will verify and update patient insurance coverage, assist with inquiries from clinical staff, and identify workflow inefficiencies in managed care processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Respond to email requests for account updates related to insurance coverage issues from clinical staff
• Resolve coverage and claim issues within assigned work queues in the practice management system
• Collaborate with team members and management to address complex issues and improve workflows

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 1+ years of recent medical billing experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Ability to work full-time, Monday - Friday, with flexibility for 8-hour shifts
