Billing Representative

Job Summary

To optimize claim submission operations, the full-time Billing Representative will process paper and electronic claims, ensure accurate and timely submissions, and communicate with various stakeholders while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Process and submit paper and electronic claims to payers with complete information to maximize reimbursement
• Work within assigned work queues to review and correct claims prior to final submission, preventing denials
• Research and communicate changes in payer regulations and recommend improvements to the billing system and revenue cycle process

Required qualifications

• 1 year of experience in healthcare billing, revenue services, or coding
• Medical certification or degree is preferred
