Billing Representative

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Billing Representative will manage medical billing and collections, ensuring timely claims processing and reimbursement while educating internal partners on billing requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for medical billing and timely follow-up of claims billed to insurance companies
• Educate internal partners on billing requirements to improve data accuracy and reduce days sales outstanding (DSO)
• Research and resolve billing issues in a high-volume environment

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Proficiency with Windows PCs and ability to navigate multiple programs
• Ability to multi-task and understand various products and benefits
• Flexibility to work full-time, Monday - Friday, during normal business hours with potential for occasional overtime
