Key Responsibilities

• Perform various billing functions to minimize accounts receivable and enhance collection performance
• Utilize electronic billing systems and knowledge of medical billing regulations to resolve accounts receivable issues
• Handle telephone inquiries from insurance companies and document issues thoroughly

Required Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of medical terminology, ICD 10 coding, and CPT, HCPCS preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and relevant billing software
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience working independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
