Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Billing Representative II will manage complex billing issues, accurately review third-party remittances, and process insurance/patient refunds while maintaining compliance with standards.
Key responsibilities
- Review and apply third-party remittance accurately
- Process insurance and patient refunds and adjustments
- Make outbound calls to insurance carriers to resolve billing issues
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 1-2 years of medical billing experience
- Ability to read and translate Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and insurance correspondence
- Proficiency in creating and modifying spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel
