Billing Representative II

Job Summary

Managing complex billing issues for patient and third-party insurance claims, the full-time Billing Representative II will work remotely to analyze denied claims, make outbound calls to insurance carriers, and ensure compliance with standards while meeting daily production and quality metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Third-Party Accounts Receivable by analyzing denied and un-responded claims
• Make outbound calls to insurance carriers to reconcile and resolve billing issues
• Process insurance and patient refunds and adjustments while maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 1-2 years of medical billing experience
• Ability to read and translate Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and insurance correspondence
• Proficiency in creating and modifying spreadsheets within Microsoft Excel
