Billing Resolution Advocate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing and Posting Resolution Advocate responsible for managing claims production, billing, collections, and compliance with third-party payer regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee claims production and ensure accurate and timely billing and collections
• Provide operational oversight and mentorship to the Billing Coordinator
• Monitor revenue cycle indicators and implement corrective action plans as necessary

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• 3 years of previous hospital billing experience
• Experience with Medicare billing and knowledge of insurance regulations
• Understanding of procedure and diagnosis coding, as well as automated insurance billing
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree is preferred
