Billing Resolution Advocate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing & Posting Resolution Advocate.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee claims production, billing, follow-up, collections, and compliance with third-party payer regulations
• Ensure accurate and timely billing of accounts while managing unpaid claims and filing appeals as necessary
• Maintain knowledge of hospital billing systems and communicate potential issues to the Team Lead

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• 3 years of previous hospital billing experience
• Working knowledge of insurance regulations and automated insurance billing
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 2 years of Medicare hospital billing experience preferred
