Billing Resolution Advocate

Job Summary

Overseeing claims production and billing processes, the full-time Billing Resolution Advocate will manage revenue cycle functions, ensuring compliance with third-party payer regulations and improving key performance indicators while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve complex outstanding claims by ensuring accurate and timely billing and collections
• Provide operational oversight and mentorship to the Billing Coordinator, enhancing team performance
• Monitor trends in statistical reports to identify operational deficiencies and implement corrective actions

Required qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• 3 years of previous hospital billing experience
• Working knowledge of insurance regulations, procedure and diagnosis coding, and automated insurance billing
• Excellent critical thinking, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to work through issues to resolution
