Billing Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Billing Software Engineer, this full-time remote position will manage the development and integration of billing software components, focusing on pricing plans and ensuring a seamless end-to-end billing experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and document core billing software components as part of an engineering team
• Integrate with third-party billing platforms and develop metering, pricing, and rating logic for various billing models
• Collaborate with product, sales, and finance teams to support custom billing requirements and ensure accurate tracking of customer usage data

Required Qualifications

• Experience in backend software engineering with a focus on billing, payments, or financial systems
• Deep knowledge of SaaS billing models and experience integrating with third-party billing platforms
• Proficient in SQL and data modeling, particularly for financial and usage data
• Strong proficiency in Go or another programming language, with a willingness to work in Go
• Experience designing and managing distributed systems and microservices
