Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine insurance company responsibility and review client charts for accurate documentation
• Prepare and submit claims for processing to insurance companies or governmental institutions
• Investigate and resolve billing errors and follow up on previously billed claims as needed

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 2 or more years of medical billing experience
• Knowledge of insurance payment processing and medical claims procedures preferred
• Understanding of contractual adjustments and refunds preferred
