Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Specialist I.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and submit primary and secondary insurance claims accurately and timely
• Review and resolve claim errors, rejections, and denials, making necessary corrections
• Maintain knowledge of billing regulations and collaborate with internal teams to improve billing accuracy

Required Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required
• 0-1 years of experience in medical billing or insurance claims processing required
• Associate Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Medical Billing, or related field preferred
• Experience utilizing Athena software is preferred
• 1-3 years of billing experience in a medical facility preferred
