Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Specialist (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Review and correct claims flagged by internal scrubs or clearinghouse errors
Validate claim elements for compliance and resubmit corrected claims
Document corrections in the EHR/RCM system and monitor work queues for trends

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or certificate in Medical Billing preferred
1-3 years of medical billing experience, preferably in dermatology
Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle and insurance requirements
Knowledge of UB-04 and/or CMS-1500 claim forms and billing guidelines
CPB or equivalent certification is a plus
