Billing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Specialist in Infusion Pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage billing processes to achieve cash collections and accounts receivable goals
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies regarding billing practices
• Conduct quality assurance on claims and invoices to ensure accuracy and adherence to payer guidelines

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required; some college is a plus
• 3 to 4 years of experience in medical billing with knowledge of managed care and reimbursement processes
• Experience auditing documentation for compliance with payer requirements
• Familiarity with automated billing systems; experience with CPR+ preferred
• Basic knowledge of accounting practices and coding (ICD-9, CPT, HCPCS)
