Billing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Specialist who will manage patient accounts and insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile all commercial insurance claims and ensure completion of billed services
• Resolve denied claims by working directly with commercial payers
• Issue and review final reconciliation letters with patients, collecting or refunding any outstanding balances

Required Qualifications

• Experience in billing and insurance claims management
• Knowledge of financial record maintenance
• Ability to work independently and maintain patient confidentiality
• Familiarity with accounts receivable reports for commercial insurance accounts
• Residency in a state eligible for remote employment (e.g., AZ, CA, TX)
