Billing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Specialist to join their Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the order-to-cash process, including contract review, billing setup, invoicing, and collections follow-up
• Process customer billing in accordance with company policies and maintain accurate customer and billing records
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to resolve billing discrepancies and assist with month-end close activities

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in billing, accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
• Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business environment is a plus
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Maxio (SaaSOptics), or similar billing/CRM systems preferred
• Basic understanding of accounting principles; exposure to GAAP or revenue recognition concepts is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
